Bio1. Name: Nikea
2. Star Position: Chiaku
3. Game: Suikoden 5
4. Age and Birthday: 27 at the time of the RPG - born in the last part of the Harvest Moon
5. Appearance: Nikea is of average height, but she seems [for lack of a better phrase] sturdily built. She is in good shape because of her training. She's got short brown hair, dark brown skin and light brown eyes that always seem to sparkle and shine. She smiles a lot, more so than most.
6. Personality: She has a generally sunny personality. She doesn't let things bother her, and more often than not she seems oblivious to things going on around her. This is due to the fact that she's very focused on the two main things in her life - fighting and eating.
7. Weapons: She uses various fists to fight with.
8. Occupation: Fighter and eater. Not always in that order.
9. Talents: She's known for being able to [eat] people under the table. She was rumored to have eaten nearly 8 pounds of chicken wings in 12 minutes.
10. Runes: Killer. It doesn't work as often as one would think it should, but when it does work...
11. Weaknesses: Food. [She's a total junkie for buffet lines.]
12. History: Nikea is the older of two children. Her parents were middle class and living in New Armes, and they had hoped that their daughter would grow up and do something that they considered respectable, but they noticed early on that she had a talent for athletics, most notably fighting. As soon as she was old enough to travel on her own at 14, she left home, promised to write often, and started off in search of people to better refine her fighting abilities. Once she learned all she could learn in New Armes, she began travelling, and that was when she found herself caught up in politics - she was hired on by Orok of Lelcar to be his bodyguard. He promised her a roof over her head, 100 potch a week, and all she could eat as long as she did what he asked.
She first met the Prince when he came to Lelcar to break up the conscription ring that Orok was running. The Prince beat her, and she was very impressed by his fighting ability. She meets up with him again in Estrise and she figured that if the Prince was really that strong, she might be able to learn something from [him]. By that point, she had some 'super duper industrial strength world beating special moves' that she [knew] was going to beat the Prince.
Alas, it was not the case. She wasn't dismayed by her second defeat, however - she resolved that if she couldn't beat them, that she'd join them, and she signed onto the Prince's cause. That, and rumor had it that there was a really good chef at the Ceras Lake castle, and she was interesting in trying out the food.
At the end of the war, she decided to travel to the Northern Continent to seek out more fighting tournaments to be in, but she only made it as far as Nirva Island. She got on the boat there to travel to the North but the boat was caught in a storm their first night out.
She woke up in Merseto, in the Toran Republic. It never occurred to her to ask about how she ended up 21 years into the future, she was just happy to be where she was. She stayed there for a little while, until she heard about a gathering of world-class fighters in a place called Budehuc, far to the north and west. So she fought in competitions and ate her way across the continent until she finally made it to Budehuc.
